Sea Screamer Dolphin Cruise

Sea Screamer Dolphin Cruise

A Sea Screamer Dolphin Cruise offers families a lively way to experience the Little River coast. The narrated journey combines Intracoastal Waterway scenery, faster ocean travel, wildlife watching, and beautiful shoreline views in one convenient outing.

Sea Screamer takes passengers on a 1½- to 2-hour trip with three distinct stages. The vessel holds up to 141 passengers and includes a canopy that covers about eight rows of seating.

A Cruise with Changing Coastal Scenery

The adventure begins with a narrated ride along the Intracoastal Waterway. An experienced crew shares information while passengers enjoy views of the water and surrounding landscape.

Next, the captain increases speed and passes several uninhabited islands and the jetty. The boat then enters the Atlantic Ocean, where passengers can begin watching for dolphins.

The final stage includes another faster ride with wide views of the coastline. Since the scenery and pace change throughout the journey, children have new sights to enjoy along the way.

Families exploring activities can make this cruise the main attraction of their day. Its convenient length still leaves time for lunch, the beach, or another relaxed coastal activity.

Why Families Choose Sea Screamer

The bright yellow boat creates a fun setting for family photos. Its open-air design also lets guests feel the breeze and enjoy clear views across the water.

In the middle of a busy vacation, Sea Screamer Dolphin Cruise gives several generations an activity they can share. Children can watch for dorsal fins, while adults enjoy the narration and coastal scenery.

Passengers should remember that dolphins are wild animals. If none are sighted during an eligible trip, the company provides a one-time return pass, subject to the restrictions shown on the customer’s receipt.

People searching for fun activities often want something more memorable than another indoor stop. A wildlife cruise adds movement, fresh air, and the excitement of not knowing exactly what may appear in the water.

Prepare for the Ocean Ride

The company describes the excursion as a wet ride. Guests should choose comfortable clothing and footwear that can handle ocean spray.

Helpful items include:

  • Sunscreen and sunglasses
  • A towel or light cover-up
  • A secure hat
  • Water-resistant shoes
  • A waterproof phone case

Passengers may bring food and drinks in a small, soft-sided cooler. However, strollers and car seats cannot go aboard, so parents should plan accordingly.

Life jackets are stored beneath the seats, and children’s sizes are available. The vessel is not wheelchair accessible, although crew members can assist guests while they climb the four or five boarding steps.

Know Where to Park and Check In

Sea Screamer parking is located at 4473 Mineola Avenue. Passengers must walk toward the waterfront and check in at Hurricane Juel’s Restaurant at 4499 Mineola Avenue to receive their boarding passes.

Arrive early when canopy seating matters to your family. Boarding follows assigned group numbers, and the boat leaves promptly at its scheduled departure time.

Among attractions visitors consider, this cruise provides a balanced mix of sightseeing and adventure. Sea Thunder offers the same narrated experience from a separate location a few blocks away.

Families planning a dolphin cruise outing should reserve ahead because walk-up tickets depend on available seating. Online reservations may be made until one hour before departure when space remains.

Valerie Vides

My family of 5 had the BEST time on this dolphin cruise today. We booked the tour the morning of and did the 4 o’clock and it was awesome ( tour lasted exactly two hours and if you get their earlier you get on an earlier boarding group which is nice)! Both captains were incredibly kms out the coastline, Captain Katie caught a jellyfish for everyone to hold, and we saw lots of adorable dolphins! We got soaking wet, but also had a great time! Loved getting to have an ice cold beer on our rode, enjoy some good music, and some fun in the sun!! Definitely worth the price! Looking forward to coming back next year.
